War of the Ring Demo Pics

I recently had a chance to play GW’s newest game, War of the Ring, at Adepticon. Released for sale on April 4, 2009 I had the pleasure of playing a demo game run by GW’s Red Shirt “Ben” with five other players. I personally enjoyed the game. The movement trays really help out with game movement and the added charge phase further develops the game.

I really liked the game as well. If I had more LoTR figs, I'd probably buy the rules but I just don't have the minis. I don't know of many LoTR players in KC either. Does anybody know of any groups playing either type of the LoTR game?

I dont know anyone in the area that plays LOTR. And for some reason it does not seem to be a supported game in the Kansas City area. I have been to several gameing shops and to a few cons that are minis focus. I pesonally can not justify painting an other army. When I still have so many orkz to paint...

Alas, I guess we can play the game when we travel to cons...
